I love the Versa and I am the original owner, an "old lady" and I know the car has been taken care of. I have had the car back 1 day, let's hope this is the solution 'cause I am very frustrated. It was my first real truck (does a Ranger count from 1988) and first 4-wheel drive I've ever owned. As the regulars will know, I bought a brand new 2017 F-250 Platinum 4x4. But in the hopes of helping someone else I am here to bare my ignorance for all to read. After much heated conversation, I made contact w/ Nissan Corp and they arranged for service to take car in and work w/ Technical Support to determine problem.they arranged a loaner vehicle(another story).4 days later they ended up replacing Intermediate shaft. Truck was making a 'Pop Pop Pop' sound while turning.

After keeping the car for 2 days, they duplicated sound and ended up replacing left/right strut mounting bearings.saga continued and had to take it back again for SAME issue. Sound continued and made me feel unsafe and uncertain as to what was happening so I took it back in October. Took it back to delearship in September.they could not duplicate sound so could not repair anything. Loud pop coming from underneath truck during backing up and turning. This was intermittent, sometimes very loud and I could sense a vibration. I was taking the family out to dinner in my nissan titan.
